Youth Venture of Greater Los Angeles

Description

We provide the youth with all the tools necessary to create civic-minded organizations, clubs or businesses. We help them access a variety of resources including: scholarships, awards, special conference invites, a national network of like-minded young people, media opportunities, and up to $1,000 in seed grants to launch their organizations. We know that young people must begin to positively impact their communities through their actions in order to make changes that will turn around our negative social trends. We want to build a movement of successful young social entrepreneurs to change the way society views young people and the way they view themselves.
