Welcome to Petite Paws Rescue Angels, Inc. Focusing on the rescue of the Yorkshire Terrier, but no canine paw too small. We are in always in NEED of Volunteers and Foster Homes all over the State. Most of our foster kids are under 15 pounds.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer organization. We rely solely on our volunteers and donations. Donations are tax-deductible. We are incorporated in the State of Indiana.
Our Home Office Base is located in NW Ohio. We do not have a Shelter Facility. We use private, approved Foster Homes and Volunteers that are available statewide and in our sister states of Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio.
Indiana Petite Paws Rescue Angels was formed in April 2004. We came about when a group of Yorkie Lovers, who met over the years on the Internet because of our love for the Yorkshire Terrier.
As our friendships grew and bonded, we saw a need out there for all the unwanted and abandoned Yorkies. We felt compelled to join together and make a difference.
Most of us have been members of National Rescue Groups but we found it became necessary to scale it down to a smaller localized area so we can cover it more efficiently.
We are in need of volunteers who have the time and dedication to help rescue, transport, pull from shelters, foster and fundraise. You must live in Indiana, SW Michigan, Western Ohio, Northern Kentucky or Eastern Illinois to join. Serious and dedicated persons only (21+), you must be actively involved. An application is required before membership is approved.
