I believe professional and amateur sports are great ways to bring the community together, providing wholesome entertainment and helping encourage family unity. Youth sports emulates what the larger sports programs are doing; and are a means of keeping our youth involved and connected to adult mentor figures. It also promotes tourism, helping local independent businesses to thrive and grow. I have seen the positive changes in Nashville since the early 80's before the Titans and Predators and the positive impact it has had on our economy as well as families being raised here. As a 15-year Travel and Tourism Professional I support all sports in Middle Tennessee and would love to be a part of giving back to my community through my involvement in the Nashville Sports Council.
