Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii

Description

Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii works to protect children before their hurt. We do this through Public Awareness Programs which seek to raise public awareness of child abuse and neglect and what can be done to prevent it through special events like the Teddy Bear Drive and media campaigns on television and radio. Education & Training Programs which seek to give parents and the community the skills and knowledge they need to keep children safe through programs like "Never Shake A Keiki" which teaches alternatives to shaking a baby. Our Advocacy Programs Seek to provide a voice for abused and neglected children through our work with community organizations, state agencies & task forces on child & family issues.
