Mission Statement

Harvest Time invites Christians of wealth to come together in circles to engage with money as a doorway into spiritual transformation at the personal, communal, and systemic levels. By "people of wealth" we mean people who come from the culture of wealth or who understand themselves to have more than enough money in a world where too many do not have what they need to survive. Harvest Time is rooted in the Christian tradition and welcomes people of all faiths who feel called to sit in our circles as we walk and grow together along the path of Spirit in the service of love, joy and justice

Description

We envision a world in which all human beings participate in the sacred dance of receiving and sharing the extravagant gifts of life. We envision human beings who are free and empowered to bring forth the depths of their spirit in relationship and in their work in the world. We envision communities in which people of all genders, faiths, races, and cultures are able to work, celebrate, and worship in their unique particularity together. We envision economic systems that support thriving human beings and communities, that honor the rhythms of the earth and that ensure that every human being has access to the material resources necessary to sustain life. We envision human beings, communities, and economic systems that make visible the invisible grace of God’s love and presence in the world.
