Description

Society of St. Andrew salvages surplus produce - either by gleaning farmers' fields after they have been commercially harvested or picking up surplus produce at farmers markets and farms. All of this fresh produce is delivered to local feeding agencies like homeless shelters, food banks, food pantries, children's homes, etc. or directly into low-income housing complexes.

We work with farmers across NC and SC and need volunteers in all parts of the state.

We depend on volunteers to help us glean and transport produce to people who really need it!
