Description
The Webster County Cultural Diversity Team is a diverse group of concerned and influential citizens in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Our goal is to make the Fort Dodge community more culturally aware, inclusive, and peaceful. We have recently incorporated and acheived 501(c)(3) IRS tax-exempt status as a means of becoming more proactive in our efforts to eliminate discrimination and inequality. Current and planned cultural events and projects include the Fort Dodge Community Garden (Our Garden), a Juneteenth celebratory event, Edna Griffin Day observance, National Night Out (event to promote police-community partnerships), and various other programs, educational events, and human rights celebrations.
All events, projects, and activities are designed to create a non-competitive, anti-discriminatory, and inclusive atmosphere for our community, country and world.
