Mission Statement

No Kill Maricopa County is an advocacy group dedicated to ending the needless killing of our companion animals at the Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) shelters by implementing the No Kill Equation.

Description

No Kill Maricopa County is not a shelter and we don’t rescue animals directly...that’s the job of Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC).

If you want to be an active part of bringing reform to MCACC ~ to save thousands of lives each year ~ get involved by doing the following:

  • Get informed: Read Redemption or the Cliff Notes version.
  • Come to our monthly meetings ~ bring your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, heck bring zombies (as long as they live in Maricopa County!) Our calendar is here.
  • Become a volunteer/join one of our committees ~ help us spread awareness throughout Maricopa County. Put your talents to good use.
  • Donate ~ community education of Maricopa County residents is quite a task. We try to attend expos and large events that will allow us to meet and educate a high volume of people in a short amount of time. We also advertise and host weekend adoption events with our rescue partners. Sadly, all of this requires dollars.
  • LIKE us on Facebook and help us promote our events, fundraisers and No Kill news from around the country.
