Bikestation is a nonprofit organization that seeks to improve the quality of life in urban communities through the development and operation of bike-transit centers and related infrastructure.

Description

Bikestation was founded on the philosophy that gaps in transportation infrastructure existed for those who wished to travel by means other than car. Bicycling is not only the most efficient form of transportation, but also improves the health of the rider, air quality, and livability of the community. Bikestation seeks to encourage more people to ride their bike through offering secure bicycle parking and related services at transit stops and in major business centers.
