Mission Statement

CARTI Foundation’s mission is to develop and implement fundraising programs, and through the investment and use of funds raised, to aid in supporting the cancer treatment, education and research efforts of CARTI.

Description

At the heart of CARTI lies the ability to fund and grow our desire to serve the needs of so many cancer patients who battle for their lives. And the CARTI Foundation is the very lifeblood of this dedication to caring and servingArkansasand the surrounding states.

The CARTI Foundation was incorporated in 1983 as a not-for-profit organization to assist CARTI in meeting the current and future needs ofArkansascancer patients and their families.

The CARTI Foundation raises funds which directly benefit CARTI’s cancer patients. We treat every patient, regardless of ability to pay, and in 2011 we provided $7.4 million in uncompensated care to those without insurance or other means of payment.

Funding comes from a variety of sources including corporations and individuals, special events, planned gifts, grants awarded by other foundations and tribute gifts. Every gift, no matter the size, is appreciated and promptly acknowledged.
