Mission Statement

Many thousands of homeless animals die in Camden County each year due to pet overpopulation and the lack of shelter space, public awareness, money, and time. Our primary goal is to substantially reduce the number of homeless animals that must die each year. We are working hard toward the day when we as a shelter need to "put down" only a small number of animals that are truly unadoptable due to severe illness or extreme aggression.

Description

CCAS is a large animal shelter built in 1997 in response to the overwhelming stray/unwanted animal population in the county. The shelter provides refuge for over 4,000 animals each year from 12 Camden County munipalities.
