The areas to be covered initially are Mafubira, Lwanda, Namulesa and Mutai which are located in Jinja District, 5km away from Jinja town. Overall most women reside in rural areas engaging in subsistence agriculture and have low levels of formal education and meager assets thus poverty is severe in rural areas and acute among women. The Project has acquired an office space (rented premise) located within the Jinja Municipality in Jinja District.
