Mission Statement

To promote literacy for people of all ages in Fairbanks and the Interior by helping community members achieve individual education goals and by raising public awareness about literacy.

Description

The Adult Literacy Program trains and supports volunteers to tutor adults in reading, writing, conversation, math, English as a Second Language, and computer skills. The School-Age Tutoring program trains and supports volunteers to tutor children in reading, writing, math, and English as a Second Language in our After School Tutoring program.
