To support sustainable, community-based transportation services for seniors, and adults with visual impairment, by building a transportation network and promoting lifelong safety and mobility.

Description

ITNCentralCT is a community-based, non-profit organization providing dignified, affordable, door-to-door transportation services for people over 60 and adults with visual impairments. Our volunteer drivers take our riders where they want to go - not just where they need to go - and we do so 24/7/365.

An affiliate of ITNAmerica, we are more than a "good cause". We are a necessary service helping to solve a social need. Imagine that you are unable to drive your car, that the bus line is not convenient, and a taxi is too expensive. Imagine not being able to meet friends for dinner, attend social engagements or religious services, or run errands easily and conveniently.

ITNCentralCT helps:

  • families and friendships endure;
  • adult children minimize their absenteeism from work;

  • and seniors maintain community connections and access.
