The SHARE Food Network links community and church groups to: Provide quality food packages monthly to families at a reduced cost. Promote volunteer service in our communities. Build partnerships with other organizations. SHARE supports local community and church groups where all may participate, serve and lead with dignity. SHARE is open to everyone.

Description

The SHARE Food Network distributes high quality affordable nutritious food as a way to build community and strengthen families. By performing two hours of volunteer service, participants are able to purchase packages of groceries at a reduced cost, empowering families to save an average of 50-60% off local supermarket prices. Registration may be made at one of the 350 churches and organizations that sponsor SHARE throughout the community. In addition, through SHARE people access information on health and nutrition and develop partnerships to prevent hunger in their communities.
