Description

Colquitt Miller Arts Council has a wide variety of endeavors. We produce Swamp Gravy, Georgia's official folk life play based on the lives of the residents of Miller county and the surrounding areas. We also produce May Haw, which is our comedy show, and a summer youth theatre show. All of these shows are performed by community members.

We began the Millenium Mural Project in 1999 which resulted in Colquitt being declared Georgia's first Mural City. In 2010, Colquitt hosted the Global Mural, Arts and Cultural Tourism Conference.

Besides theatre, Colquitt/Miller Arts also has the New Life Learning Center, which provides classes and opportunities to the youngest members of our community. We are always stiving to expand and explore ways in which the arts can enrich the lives of our neighbors and ourselves.
