Mission Statement
Project Promise is part of the work of Hillsborough County Public Schools. Website: promise.mysdhc.org/. I am a contractor who goes above and beyond, and has permission from one of the facilities I work with to invite volunteers to assist with certain activities.
Description
This lifeskills program is very successful, but the girls want to meet working and business women. They are in foster care and need more role models. Last year several people made time to come and speak, do demonstrations, or help with craft projects. It seems as if the economy has turned people inwards and there are few people with one or two hours to give these foster kids.
