MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.

Description

MDA is the nation’s largest nongovernmental funder of scientific research seeking treatments and cures for more than 40 neuromuscular diseases. Today, MDA is one of the world’s leading voluntary health agencies fostering research and medical care. Programs available through your local MDA office are funded almost entirely by individual private contributors and cooperating organizations.
