Upendo Kids International (UKI) is sponsored by United Charitable Programs (UCP), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All funds raised by Upendo are received by UCP and become the sole property of UCP, which, for internal operating purposes, allocates the funds to this program. The Program Manager makes recommendations for disbursements which are reviewed by UCP for approval." While "UPENDO" means LOVE in Swahili, UKI is a place where love goes further beyond many boundaries. It goes in all races and continents, to reach out to those children who need it. You will be amazed by how much God can use you to change lives. Any act of kindness and love we take to reach out to children around the world makes them know that God loves them. Children in low-income families are vulnerable and face the risk of death each day. HIV/AIDS and many other preventable diseases kill thousands of children in the world each day. Most of these deaths can be stopped by you and me. Many children in Africa need your love. Upendo Kids International is for such kids who are striving for their lives in very vulnerable situations beyond their control. A lot of them go for days without food or water. Others live in the streets and feed from garbage bins.That is why UKI is asking for your support in reaching out to these children.
