Mission Statement

The vision of Sacramento START is to give children every opportunity to be successful. START fosters enthusiasm for learning, engaging children in fun, hands-on literacy focused activities. START enhances the school day and supports district goals in a safe and caring environment. The mission of START is to build the capacity of elementary school children to succeed academically and socially, while reconnecting families and neighborhoods with their schools.
