SAFEHOUSE

To provide emergency shelter and direct services to victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault and their dependent children; provide the communities we serve with education about domestic violence and/or sexual assault; and provide contacts/referrals to other community agencies

FAMILY VISITATION CENTER

Our mission is to present a safe and supportive environment for family visitation and transfers. Our commitment is to the physical and emotional safety of children. Our philosophy is to advocate for children's rights to maintain, establish, or re-establish healthy contact with parents and other significant adults

Description

Mitchell Area Safehouse provides emergency or transitional housing for adult victims escaping domestic violence and their children. Our trained advocates provide a confidential support system for victims of abuse.

The Family Visitation Center provides a continuum of visitation services to meet families'needs including supervised exchange of children participating in a traditional visitation schedule to on-site fully supervised visitation.
