Mission Statement

Since the beginning of Tembeza Kenya 2001 we have set up our mission and vision to establishing conservation projects which includes biological research, fixing fences and repairs, public education, recreation, reforestation, animal counts and research, teaching and tourism rehabilitation which lead to improvement of our Kenya parks and reserves. Also with our teaching programs we have set up to building schools and maintenance for communities with centers within rural areas for community development, community organizing with conflict resolution services.

Description

Tembeza Kenya coordinates research with the affiliate which does ecosystems monitoring, planning, and project management using ecosystem management strategies, conservation and management of wild life resources outside protected areas. The people involved in KWS projects include private ranchers, small-scale farmers, cooperatives, local CBOà  à  à  à ¢à  à  à  à  à  à  à  à  s (Tembeza Kenya), and tourism ventures and are united by a common goal - to take responsibility for, and protect, the biodiversity of the land. To do this, there is much information that needs to be collected and analyzed on the different animal populations in the country, thus the urgency of volunteers.
