Mission Statement

The mission of Cancer Connection is to improve the quality of life for individuals and families impacted by cancer through practical, emotional and spiritual support.

Description

Those who have experienced cancer, either personally or as a caregiver, are trained to provide support and resource information to people currently living with cancer.

Our next quarterly volunteer training will be held Feb 10 and 11 2012.

I attended Cancer Connection's training in September of 2009. I'm several years out of my cancer treatment and found the training helpful and therapeutic. I'm a one on one match with a newly diagnosed patient now and feel like I'm really helping her! It's neat to use my experience with cancer to help others.
