We know that when young people and adults in our community work together on issues that impact us, we achieve profound changes in how we support young people to be successful, young people enjoy opportunities to try on leadership roles and expand definitions of success for themselves, issues are addressed at the grassroots, and our community is strengthened and healed through the process. CWYC organizesmonthly coalition meetings and workgroups, hosts special community events, moderates an email discussion group, promotes positive youth activities and events via social media messages, and staff participate in key community meetings to represent youth and sector interests.
