Mission Statement

International Institute of Los Angeles (IILA) provides comprehensive social services to assist individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency; and provides community leadership to promote multicultural understanding. Some of the programs at IILA are: Preschool and Child Care, Child Nutrition, Immediate Needs Transportation Program, Immigration Legal Services, Refugee Reception & Placement, Human Trafficking Victims Program and Unaccompanied Minors Program.

Description

International Institute of Los Angeles is a collective of like-minded people passionate about social injustice and the rights and needs of all, and is especially dedicated to the newcomer, the underprivileged and the disadvantaged. We are deeply dedicated to broad strategies that strengthen the community, secure social justice and enhance the well-being of our fellow human beings. Since 1914, IILA has supported families, rescued refugees, protected the vulnerable and embraced the elderly. At IILA, we are all dedicated to a shared vision where we struggle for social policies that affirm all, include all, and provide opportunities for all.
