Mission Statement
Korean Resource Center (KRC) envisions the Korean American Community coming together with other immigrant and ethnic communities to share in the reponsibility of creating a just and equitable society.
Description
KRC advocates for the civil rights of our community, facilitates grassroots organizing and political/civic participation, and engages in coalition-building with other communities of color in California. Our program areas include: education, advocacy, social service, and Korean culture. KRC provides social services primarily to recent immigrants and low-income families, as well as educational classes/seminars for the community. KRC also promotes the culutral heritage of Koreans as part of multicutural America through our in-residence performing and holds drumming/performing arts classes. KRC is an affiliate of National Korean American Services and Education Consortium (NAKASEC).
