Mission Statement

Labrador Rescuers was established to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home stray, abandoned or unwanted Labrador Retrievers into loving and caring homes that will provide our labs a place to lay their heads in dignity for the rest of their lives. We strive to provide all families with the education they need for responsible and enjoyable pet ownership.

Description

Labrador Rescuers originated to help rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home the growing numbers of unwanted and abandoned Labrador Retrievers in the San Diego, Inland Empire and Southern Orange County areas. Our Labs are our first priority. We take special care in matching our Labs with their new families. Most of our Labs have been fostered for a short time to help in getting to know their personalities, behaviors and any special needs. We take their needs and our families' needs into consideration when doing the adoptions. Most of our Labs come from the local shelters and come from owners who are no longer in a position to care for their pet. Some are Labs that have lost their owners who are unable to be located.
