Mission Statement

The Endeavor Games is a nationally recognized competition that allows all athletes with physical disabilities to participate in a multi-sport event. The games also provide training clinics for aspiring athletes. The UCO Endeavor Games will feature 11 sport competitions for athletes of all ages and classifications to compete in. The UCO Endeavor Games are a Wheelchair and Ambulatory Sports, USA level 3 sanctioned event. The WASUSA premier event brings together hundreds of athletes with physical disabilities from all over North America to compete in archery, field, table tennis, track, swimming, and weightlifting. The Endeavor Games is endorsed or sanctioned by U.S. Paralympics, National Disability Sports Alliance, Disabled Sports USA, United States Association of Blind Athletes, USA Track and Field, and Wheelchair Sports USA.

Description

The Endeavor Games are looking for volunteers to help with the 2012 Endeavor Games. There are volunteer opportunities for all ages in the events, set up, and score keeping with times throughout multiple days. The events will take place June 7-10, 2012 in Edmond, Okla. at the University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond North High School, or the Lake Arcadia Outdoor Adventure Recreation Center.
