Mission Statement

The Women's Wellbeing and Development Foundation (WWD-F) is a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization that empowers women and children to achieve personal growth and the comprehensive development of their communities. WWD-F supports local and international women-run projects and creates model programs in the areas of education, health, and economic development.

Description

WWD-F is partnering with the Asheville Housing Authority, Asheville Parks and Recreation, and local organizations to offer Free Classes and Workshops to individuals and families living in public housing neighborhoods of Asheville. The classes and workshops are held within the neighborhood, and focus on enhancing healthy lifestyles of the participating children and adults, and of the community as a whole.
