Mission Statement

Puget Creek Restoration Society is dedicated to protecting, enhancing and restoring the Puget Creek Watershed and similar streams, wetlands and green spaces on Commencement Bay and Puget Sound. Through hands-on restoration and research, educational outreach, advocacy--and by increasing environmental awareness--we seek to preserve this important habitat so it will continue to be an example of what people can do to protect and restore the environment in an urban setting.

Description

We are involved in hands-on restoration/research projects to restore the habitat in this 66 acre watershed. We are an all volunteer run organization working with over 800 volunteers a year in the various activities of the organization. We have over 300 members and Board members and key volunteers run the different programs and activities of the organization.
