Mission Statement

The mission of the International Cake Exploration Societ (ICES) is to preserve, advance and encourage exploration of the sugar arts. ICES promotes and provides opportunities for continuing education, development of future sugar artists, and enjoyment of the art form in a caring and sharing environment.

Description

The Virginia Chapter of ICES presents the annual National Capital Area Cake Show (NCACS), one of the largest sugar art competitions in the country. The two-day event features divisional competition, a special wedding cake competition, live challenges, vendors of cake supplies and equipment, classes, demonstrations, youth activities, and much more.
