Mission Statement

The Washington Reading Corps is dedicated to helping stuggling young readers learn to read at grade level.

Description

Our program is run by VISTA and AmeriCorps volunteers. Our volunteers tutor students (in grades 1-5) one-on-one and in small groups. We tutor students during the school day and we have an after school program 2 days a week.
