Mission Statement

The New School of Music is a community music school located in Cambridge for students of all ages and levels. NSM offers programs in a non-competitive, student centered learning environment from professional musicians with a passion for teaching. NSM offers private and group lessons, masterclasses, vacation programs, seasonal family events, and a community concert series on the 2nd Sunday of the month.

Description

The New School of Music is a small community music school offering music lessons to all ages since 1976 (located in Cambridge, MA). Our mission is to provide music instruction to all who seek it, and to share the talents of our faculty with the community through an extensive concert and outreach program. The New School of Music is a full member of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts.
