To stimulate learning by providing opportunities for direct experience with nature for the people of the North Carolina Piedmont, so they can develop a lifelong appreciation of, and respect for, the region's history and the environment.

Description

Schoolhouse of Wonder has been rooted in the Durham community since 1989. The opportunities we offer our neighbors are one of a kind, and are highly valued among local schools and other Triangle groups. We are proud to have reached more than 35,000 community youth and their families through Nature School, Camps, and our other educational programs.
