Mission Statement

Los Angeles Police Historical Society & Museum mission statement: Virtually every important organization needs to trace it's roots back to the beginning and record the evolution of it's growth. This is the repository for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD)l history and a safe place for the "artifacts" of our jobs to be preserved and a place to record our group and individual accomplishments. Those who will follow us will know we were here, who we were, where we worked and what it was like when we served our community.l Our goal is to become that central repository.
