Do you have 2 hours a week for a good deed? Meals On Wheels is looking for a regular route delivery driver one day a week (first come, first choice of your preferred day!) in Montgomery County. This route will have you driving our company vehicle (a Ford Explorer) from our Pottstown home office, heading to 6 stops from Royersford, to Trappe, to Collegeville, to Schwenksville and then back where you started in Pottstown. You must be able to lift 20 pounds, as you'll be loading 16 Meals on Wheels insulated food delivery bags into the vehicle using a dolly cart to and from. You'll be making the rounds to the same stops each week, bringing the bags to our waiting Volunteers in those areas, and retreving yesterday's bags along the way. We have quite the volunteer network and we're so very proud of it and all the wonderful people that help to make our Meals on Wheels program work! This Route picks up in Pottstown at 9:45am sharp and usually has you back around 11:30am. A valid Drivers License, Current Insurance, Background Check, and a ridealong training are required.
