Help Create A Life-Changing RESOURCE GUIDE for Community Members In Need! Smart, Organized, Detail-Oriented Volunteer Needed Flexible schedule - Much of the work can be done remotely Tasks will include: Research (programs, criteria/how to apply, location/hours) Organizing the information Resource Guide design and layout (for both print and digital use) BOSS is a County-wide organization with a network of programs that assist people experiencing homelessness, poverty, health crises, domestic or community violence, former incarceration or justice system involvement. BOSS is one of MANY local agencies who provide important services for this population - health (including COVID testing/vax/info), mental health, shelter, housing, rental assistance, legal support, family services, food, clothing, and more. There is a LOT of information out there - it is hard to stay up-to-date, to know who is eligible for what services, and how to apply. We are looking for a volunteer to help us complete a new life-saving tool - a project that has already been started by a previous volunteer. The Resource Guide would be used internally by BOSS staff, and we would also distribute it to other service providers and to people in need. This is a HIGHLY IMPACTFUL PROJECT that will help hundreds if not thousands of community members!!!
