Mission Statement

The purpose of the Braeburn After School Initiative is to provide the youth and parents of the Gulfton area with an opportunity to increase their economic viability by providing ESL and GED classes for parents and by providing additional access to technology and tutoring for the children.

Description

The Braeburn After School Program runs Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Youth participants are provided with tutorials, homework assistance, computer classes, dance, drama, art, sports and character education classes. Parents will be provided with Literacy, GED, ESL and Computer Classes throughout the day and evening in the parental involvement center. Both programs run from the beginning of September through June.
