Mission Statement

Color of Teal’s mission is to educate women on how to develop an open dialogue with her gynecologist, to recognize the warning signs and symptoms of gynecologic cancers, and to advise her of various methods of treatment and available care.

Monies raised goes towards the Teal Care Co-Pay Assistance Program for Women and other related organizations.

Description

Color of Teal educates the women, through printed material, studies, presentation and lectures. We travel all over the New York City area providing awareness for the 6 types of gynecologic cancers (cervical, fallopian, ovarian, uterine, vulvar, vaginal). Color of Teal has two programs: Teal Care Co-Pay Assistance Program for Women, which provides financial assistance for women who lack the resources to obtain treatment, medication and care. Color of Teal also has the Teal Kitty C.A.T.'s which are for younger girls who may be exposed to HPV and cervical cancer.
