Mission Statement

New England Search and Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit organization, based in Rhode Island, specializing in search and rescue operations. With roots in water searches, we have a team of divers, communication and PWC (personal water craft / boat) specialists to assist in active searches or recovery missions.

There are many ways you can get involved and support New England Search and Rescue and our cause. Contact us to find out about opportunities to volunteer in the community at NESAR events, become a member of the NESAR search team (divers, boat operators, communications and general staff), or to donate. NESAR is a great opportunity to not only meet great people but, learn about boating and what it takes to help someone in need. NESAR has a great group on volunteers ready to render help at any time. This makes NESAR unique. There is no other group that trains or does what NESAR does. You learn everything you need to know such as BLS, rescue swimmer skills and rescue boating.
