The Queen Anne's County Department of Animal Services was established to provide safety for the public, to ensure the humane care and treatment of all animals and to encourage responsible pet ownership.

Description

The Queen Anne’s County Department of Animal Services provides a variety of animal related services. Some of these include housing pets available for adoption, responding to calls for assistance related to domestic animals, responding to wild animal calls when an animal presents eminent danger to a human being or there is human interaction. Animal Services also presents educational programs to schools and community groups and as well coordinates pet fostering and pet adoptions.
