• Responsiveness to the needs and interests of local arts and community groups

• Operation that is fiscally responsible

Description

In 1990 the Admiral Theatre Foundation was formed with a commitment to renovate, re-open and operate, the newly city acquired Admiral Theatre, for the benefit of the citizens of Bremerton and Kitsap County. In 1997 the Admiral Theatre re-opened with it's first performing season. The Admial Theatre is now entering it's 14th presenting season, each year, nearly 50,000 patrons visit the theatre to enjoy more than 60 professional performances presented by the Foundation including a school day series (Stages for All Ages) of up to ten performances a year which brings 10,000 school children to see live performances; a film series, and approximately 60 community events, all of which present performing arts during the event. The Theatre is supported by both Public and Private funding.
