Second Chance Boxer Rescue

I adopted my wonderful boxer Roxy from this group in January 2008. This is a very passionate group that dedicates much of their personal time and energies into caring for boxers primarily, but other breeds as well. After settling in w/my new addition, I was so impressed by how helpful the members had been during our adoption that I began volunteering. Any effort to assist this group is deeply appreciated by the members; from checking references to fostering. There is something for everyone to help. You become part of this group quickly and can see the results of your contribution daily in the lives of the dogs that are placed. SCBR has one of the highest success rates in permanent placements of their dogs. All you need to do is offer to help just one time...and you will see why. A wonderful and supportive community that I feel privileged to be a part of.
