Mission Statement

At the American Cancer Society, we're working to create a world with more birthdays.

Since 1993 nearly 6 million walkers have raised more than $400 million through this event nationwide to fund breast cancer research and implement our free patient services that help women during their breast cancer fight.

Thanks to this work, more than 2.5 million breast cancer survivors, will celebrate a birthday this year.

Our Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events are the American Cancer Society's premier event to raise awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer.
