Mission Statement

The Out of the Darkness Overnight is a fundraising walk of up to 18 miles throughout the night, designed to raise funds and make a bold statement to bring the issue of suicide out into the light. The Overnight is organized by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the leading national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research and education, and to reaching out to people with mood disorders and those affected by suicide.

Description

The Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk will be held June 9-10, 2012 in San Francisco, CA.

The dusk until dawn walk will be an opportunity for participants from around the nation to come together in support of suicide prevention and education programs.
