To address to the root causes of chronic, intergenerational poverty and teen pregnancy by providing programs and services to economically disadvantaged youth and families that strengthen the entire family unit, empower youth and families to create pathways out of poverty and design the blueprints for a better future.

Description

Family Blueprints of North Carolina, Inc. will launch its first program called My Brother's Keeper in July 2012. My Brother's Keeper is a pregnancy prevention and positive youth development program for economically disadvantaged adolescent males between the ages of 13-19. The program will offer the following activities:

  • Pregnancy prevention education
  • Mentoring
  • Financial literacy and entrepreneurship education
  • Creative Expression through Art
  • Leadership Development
