The mission of The Peace Center is to educate, empower, and support individuals, and organizations in efforts to prevent violence, promote peaceful resolution of conflict, and foster inclusive, equitable, and safe communities locally, nationally, and worldwide.

Description

ThePeaceCenteris a non-profit organization which was founded in 1982 to promote a culture of peace through activism, education, and community building. Today, with an experienced staff, active steering committee, dedicated members, and generous volunteers, The Peace Center addresses, prevents and interrupts violence by transforming conflicts with families, schools, businesses, faith communities and institutions.
