The mission of Westport Country Playhouse is to transform lives through the power of theater. Our aim is to enlighten, enrich and engage a diverse community of theater lovers, artists and students by presenting excellent professional theater and offering a welcoming experience that perpetuates the long tradition of the Westport Country Playhouse.

Description

Westport Country Playhousewill probe deep into the human psyche and explore relationships and issues that are particularly relevant in the world today. Our work will be intellectually challenging, emotionally uplifting, and even shocking at times, but it will be grounded in characters that touch the human soul. We seek innovative and provocative artists to create new work as we strive to enlighten, enrich and engage a diverse community of theater lovers, artists and students.
