To help overcome the problems faced by mobilizing public and private resources in support of these programs. To plan, coordinate and implement both short and long-term strategies for overcoming poverty in rural communities.

Description

The purpose of the PPEP Microbusiness and Housing Development Corporation is two fold: (1) Increase the success rate of small businesses by providing critical business development training and technical assistance needed for sustainablity and growth. (2) Develop and infrastructure to support the establishment of local Community Development Corporations (CDCs) that will operate similiar to credit unions serving both the personal and business needs of mostly low income, Hispanic consumers.
