Mission Statement

The mission of Uniting America is to build bridges between immigrants and their native born Illinois neighbors, through volunteerism, dialogue, and community service.

Description

Uniting America is recruiting long time residents and new Americans to work together in the areas of U.S. citizenship, ESL classes, and after school tutoring/mentoring. Immigrants and long-term residents will also work together organizing service events, such as beach front clean ups, or neighorhood revitalization projects. We will also host Community Unity events to share food, culture, and ideas.
